Ashleigh Kenneson
WCA Childcare Director
Hello, and welcome to WCA Childcare! My name is Ashleigh Kenneson and I am the Childcare Director. I would love to welcome you to our amazing center.
I was born and raised in Woodstock, NB. I have lived here most of my life. I lived in Moncton for 4 years while I was attending post-secondary school. I went to Crandall University majoring in Sociology from 2010-2012. I then transferred to Oulton College in Moncton to complete my Early Childhood Education/Educational Assistant degree. I graduated from Oulton College in 2013.
I moved back to Woodstock in 2014 when I was pregnant with my beautiful daughter, Sadie. My daughter is the light of my life and my greatest joy!
I have been working in childcare for 8 years now and I absolutely love it! It is definitely my passion! I cannot wait to meet and get to know your children. They will be welcomed in with love!

"Children need play, they need play to develop well. It's not a luxury. It's not something that we should regard as recess or a break from learning. It is learning." ~Dr. Peter Gray, on child-led play

She is my heart, my soul, my "best thing that ever happened to me", the source of many laughs, and a few tears. She is my daughter and she is my world.

"Focus on the step ahead of you, and not the whole staircase"
I also have a German Shepherd and two cats!

I am the oldest sibling out of the three of us. I am 8 years older than my sister Tori and 10 years older than my brother Colby.
