Dawn Wilcox
My name is Dawn Wilcox. I have an awesome family with my husband, Dave, and 3 adult children, my daughter-in-law, and 4 amazing grandchildren. They are all very precious to me!
My experience is varied, but I have always worked with children in some capacity. Just a few positions I have held include: a preschool teacher, substitute teacher for elementary age, Educational Assistant, taught in and organized programming and special events for 150 children, infants through grade 6.
My degree is in education. I have completed the 30-hour course for the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework and 60-hour course for the Introduction to Early Childhood Education, as well as many other Professional Development courses offered by the Department of Education.
I love the children who come through our childcare centre! When I am not there, some of my favourite things to do are hiking, snowshoeing, campfires, hanging out with my family and friends, and eating popcorn!
